ECOFACT is a Limerick based Environmental Science Practice with extensive experience in a wide range of environmental projects. The company was established in 1999 by Dr. William O'Connor, a senior environmental scientist who had previously worked for the Electricity Supply Board (ESB). The company has grown since this time and is now the largest environmental consultancy in the mid-west, operating both nationally and in the UK.

ECOFACT employs permanent full time senior environmental consultancy staff, field ecologists and temporary seasonal staff. All permanent senior environmental scientists are chartered members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM), the Society of Biology (SOB) and/or Institute of Fisheries Management (IFM). We employ environmental scientists and ecologists with specialist skills in habitats and vegetation, water management, marine and freshwater fisheries, water and sediment quality, aquatic ecology, ornithology, mammal ecology (including bats), entomology, forestry, habitat management and restoration and conservation legislation and policy.
